Reggae pon di hills

       "Vegetatia a renascut, zilele devin din ce in ce mai lungi si ne atrag din nou catre pustiu, catre codru si dealuri pe care le vom imparti pentru al doilea an la rand. Dupa o iarna grea, evenimentul cultural "Reggae pon Di Hills" revine cu forte noi, cu ambitii noi si cu inca mai multe vibratii si mesaje pozitive de impartit in acelasi loc, la 25 de kilometri de Brasov, pe Valea Teliului in datele de 6, 7 si 8 august 2010. Conceptul ramane neschimbat: intrare libera, good tunes, consciousness and respect for the Mother Earth. 

       In acest an, ni s-a alaturat asociatia franceza cu scop non lucrativ "Culture International" implicata in mai multe proiecte de dezvoltare si de sustinere a diferitelor culturi si in mod principal a celei jamaicane. Aceasta ne aduce pe plaiurile mioritice un sound system fresh de pe scena pariziana: Quality Time (FR) care obisnuieste sa strabata cultura reggae de la inceputuri pana la epoca noastra la fiecare petrecere. De asemenea, intregul crew de la Kaya Sound (RO) va fi prezent si va imbina genurile roots si dub inna original sound system style. Al treilea sound confirmat este colectivul East Roots International, caracterizat de stilul propriu a fiecaruia dintre componenti sound-ului care mixeaza toate stilurile de muzica cu influenta jamaicana.

     Alte vibrati pozitive vor fi impartite de catre Dorian, Rastahfairy si Us alaturi de Phlo Da Shaolin, de Dani si de I-Sheba pentru un week-end cat mai reusit!

Mai multe se gaseste pe blogul lor, inclusiv ce s-a intamplat anul trecut. O sa adaug aici si cum se ajunge acolo, acest lucru fiind foarte simplu cu trenul si foarte ieftin.

        Summer finally came back and Reggae Pon Di Hills is coming soon, bringing good vibes and big tunes. Reggae Pon Di Hills is an outdoor sound-systems meeting held in the valley of Teliu, 25 km from Brasov, Romania, on the 6th, 7th and 8th of august 2010. FREE ENTRANCE

       Culture International, promoter of the event, is a french association that spreads culture and more especially jamaican music. Reggae Pon Di Hills will be the opportunity for the association to give to the romanian audience the first show ever of its brand new sound-system crew called Quality Time Department. "Roots, culture & entertainment, from foundation to the rooftop" is their motto. Kaya Foundation, original romanian dub militant sound-system, will be there with its whole crew. Third sound to be announced is the resident sound from Suburbia club in Bucharest: East Roots International. The four selectas will give an eclectic selection that goes from dubstep to the deepest roots you could ever find, through dancehall, UK stepper, drum'n bass or nu-roots.

     Dorian, Rastahfairy, Us (former member of Kaya Foundation), Phlo Da Shaolin, Dani and I-Sheba The Roots Architect will also take part to this musical week-end that promises to be maaaaad!
